अगस्ता वेस्टलैंड : दिल्ली HC ने जमानत को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका पर रक्षा डीलर से मांगा जवाब

The Delhi High Court asked the ED on its plea challenging the bail granted to Mr. Sojan Mohan Gupta, the alleged defense agent arrested in the money laundering case related to the AgustaWestland VVIP helicopter scam, on Thursday. Justice Sunil Goud issued notice to Gupta and fixed September 12 for next hearing on the matter.
ED has challenged the June 1 order of the lower court in which Gupta has been granted bail. ED had arrested Gupta on March 26 under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The lower court had given relief to him with the security of five lakh rupees and with the security of the same amount. The court had imposed various conditions on the accused, which also included that they would not tamper with the evidence and would not leave the country without prior permission of the court.
