। इस साल 8 मार्च को शिवरात्रि मनाई जाएगी। फाल्गुन मास में पड़ने वाली शिवरात्रि को महाशिवरात्रि के नाम से जाना जाता है। शिव भक्तों के लिए यह दिन बहुत ही खास होता है। महाशिवरात्रि को भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती के मिलन का पर्व माना जाता है। इस दिन भक्तगण व्रत रखते हैं और पूरे विधि-विधान के साथ भगवान शिव की पूजा करते हैं। माना जाता है ऐसा करने से भोलेनाथ प्रसन्न होकर सारी मनोकामनाएं पूरी करते हैं।

Shivratri will be celebrated on March 8 this year. Shivratri falling in the month of Phalgun is known as Mahashivratri. This day is very special for Shiva devotees. Mahashivratri is considered the festival of union of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. On this day devotees observe fast and worship Lord Shiva with full rituals. It is believed that by doing this Lord Bholenath gets pleased and fulfills all the wishes.
