प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आज अपने भूटान दौरे (PM Modi In Bhutan) के दूसरे दिन यहां ग्यालत्सुएन जेत्सुन पेमा वांगचुक मातृ एवं शिशु अस्पताल का उद्घाटन किया. इस दौरान उनके साथ भूटानी समकक्ष दाशो शेरिंग तोबगे भी मौजूद रहे. भूटान के पीएम टोबगे ने आधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस अस्पताल बनाने के लिए पूरी फंडिंग करने के लिए भारत सरकार का आभार जताया. अस्पताल के उद्घाटन से पहले भूटान के प्रधानमंत्री ने न्यूज एजेंसी एएनआई से बात की. इस दौरान पीएम टोबगे ने कहा, "थोड़ी देर में, प्रधानमंत्री (मोदी) इस अद्भुत अस्पताल का उद्घाटन करने जा रहे हैं. ग्यालत्सुएन जेत्सुन पेमा वांगचुक मातृ एवं शिशु अस्पताल को पूरी तरह से भारत सरकार द्वारा वित्त पोषित है."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema Wangchuk Maternal and Child Hospital here on the second day of his visit to Bhutan (PM Modi In Bhutan). During this time, Bhutanese counterpart Dasho Tshering Tobgay was also present with him. Bhutan's PM Tobgay thanked the Indian government for providing full funding to build a hospital equipped with modern facilities.
