कांग्रेस पर केंद्रीय मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर ने कहा, "जो लोगों से किए हुए वादे न पूरे कर पाए और जब उनके चुने हुए प्रतिनिधि जनता के बीच गए तो जनता उन्हें याद करवा रही थी कि क्या हुआ तेरा वादा? कहीं न कहीं ये झूठे वादे और झूठे गारंटी कांग्रेस पर भारी पड़ रही है...ये केवल हिमाचल में ही नहीं बल्कि कर्नाटक में भी कांग्रेस का यही हाल है... कांग्रेस के अपने ही कर्म है जो उन्हें भारी पड़ रहे हैं।"

On Congress, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, "Those who could not fulfill the promises made to the people and when their elected representatives went among the public, the public was reminding them that what happened to your promise? Somewhere these false promises and "False guarantees are costing the Congress dearly... This is the condition of the Congress not only in Himachal but in Karnataka too... It is Congress's own actions which are costing them dearly."
