ED on Tuesday (May 7, 2024) arrested Jharkhand Minister Alamgir Alam's personal secretary Sanjeev Lal and his domestic help Jahangir. The Central Investigation Agency had recovered unaccounted cash worth more than Rs 35 crore and many documents during the search of several premises of Jahangir on Monday .

ईडी ने झारखंड के मंत्री आलमगीर आलम के निजी सचिव संजीव लाल और उनके घरेलू सहायक जहांगीर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. केंद्रीय जांच एजेंसी ने सोमवार (6 मई, 2024) को ही जहांगीर के कई परिसर की तलाशी के दौरान 35 करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा की बेहिसाबी नकदी और कई दस्तावेज बरामद किए थे.
