चंद्रमा की सतह पर लगभग 50 साल बाद फिर एक नई ऊर्जा ओर उद्देश्य के साथ अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी नासा ऐसा शोध करना चाहती है जो भविष्य में अंतरिक्ष में बसने की संभावना को विकसित कर सके। लीफ प्रोजेक्ट के अंतर्गत मुश्किल से मुश्किल हालातों में पौधों के जीव विज्ञान के बारे में हमारी समझ को आगे बढ़ाना है। इस प्रोजेक्ट का उदेश्य अंतरिक्ष मे गुरुत्वाकर्षण के अलग अलग परिस्थितियों में पौधों मे कैसे प्रकाश संश्लेषण की प्रक्रिया की जाए। इसके साथ ही पौधों का विकास और तनाव प्रतिक्रियाओं का अध्ययन करके अंतरिक्ष में जीवन विकसित करने के रहस्यों की खोज करना हैं।

After almost 50 years on the surface of the Moon, with a new energy and purpose, the space agency NASA wants to conduct research that can develop the possibility of settling in space in the future. The LEAF Project aims to advance our understanding of the biology of plants in harsh conditions. The objective of this project is to understand how the process of photosynthesis occurs in plants under different conditions of gravity in space. Along with this, the aim is to discover the secrets of developing life in space by studying the growth and stress responses of plants.
