Yashasvi Jaiswal: भारत की Asia Cup 2025 की टीम का ऐलान हुआ और इस बार जो फैसले लिए गए, वो हर किसी को हैरान कर देने वाले थे। टीम की घोषणा होते ही चर्चा का सबसे बड़ा मुद्दा बना Yashasvi Jaiswal
और Shreyas Iyer का ना चुना जाना। Jaiswal जब से टीम इंडिया में एंट्री ली है, हर मौके को पूरी मेहनत से भुनाया है। टेस्ट हो या टी20, हर फॉर्मेट में उन्होंने खुद को साबित किया है। इसके बावजूद इस बार उन्हें टीम से बाहर कर दिया गया, जबकि Shubman Gill की वापसी हुई है और वो उपकप्तान भी बनाए गए हैं। Yashasvi Jaiswal को टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2024 में भी बैकअप ओपनर के रूप में टीम में रखा गया था। लेकिन अब लगता है कि उन्हें फिर से अपने करियर की दिशा पर विचार करना पड़ेगा। ऐसे में भारत के एक सीनियर खिलाड़ी Jaiswal ने सब कुछ सही किया, फिर भी बाहर क्यों?: Ravi Ashwin

Ashwin ने उन्होंने अपने वीडियो में कहा कि, "As Jaiswal got a chance in Test cricket, he took it with both hands. Easily the most successful Test batter that has made debut for India in recent past. He excelled in whatever format you gave him his opportunity to play and what else can one do other than excellence? He excelled and lost his chance in that slot. Now, he has to go back the drawing board again but I really wish him well for getting a shot at it. The point is, Jaiswal didn't lose any opportunity there was even leadership role left over from him. Then now only one more slot remaining which will be Abhishek Sharma's spot where they have to fight each other."

इस बयान से साफ है कि Ravi Ashwin को भी इस चयन प्रक्रिया में कुछ गलत लगा। Yashasvi Jaiswal ने ना सिर्फ हर फॉर्मेट में अच्छा खेला है, बल्कि उनका स्ट्राइक रेट भी बेहतरीन रहा है। टी20 में 165 का स्ट्राइक रेट किसी भी युवा खिलाड़ी के लिए बहुत बड़ी बात होती है। लेकिन इसके बावजूद उन्हें बाहर किया गया।

Ravi Ashwin ने आगे कहा, "He has a strike rate of 165 in this format as well. It is very difficult to find someone like Jaiswal because he doesn't play for himself sometimes. I have seen many such batters who don't even play themselves and Shreyas too. They do not play on their own, the ball is there to hit they will take that chance. For average players it's less but more so when it comes down to strike rates or scoring goals. Such brand players took quite some time to get into India. That's a big thing you are saying. No, we have to save our own space and it is an unfortunate thing that T20 has become one of those places." इस बात से यही समझ आता है कि अब टीम में जगह बनाना केवल प्रदर्शन पर नहीं, बल्कि किस समय कौन फिट बैठता है, इस पर भी निर्भर करता है। गिल के आने से Yashasvi Jaiswal की जगह चली गई, लेकिन क्या यह सही फैसला था? यह सवाल कई लोग पूछ रहे हैं। जहां एक तरफ शुभमन गिल को उपकप्तान बना दिया गया है, वहीं Yashasvi Jaiswal को टीम से बाहर किया जाना उस युवा खिलाड़ी के लिए मानसिक झटका भी हो सकता है। ऐसा लगता है कि अब वह खुद के लिए खेलना शुरू कर सकते हैं, ना कि सिर्फ टीम के लिए, क्योंकि जब टीम के लिए खेलने पर भी मौका ना मिले, तो फिर खिलाड़ी का भरोसा हिलता है। एक बात और जो सामने आती है, वो यह कि टीम में चयन अब सिर्फ आंकड़ों पर आधारित नहीं रह गया है। कई बार वो खिलाड़ी भी बाहर हो जाते हैं, जो लगातार अच्छा प्रदर्शन कर रहे होते हैं। Yashasvi Jaiswal का मामला भी कुछ ऐसा ही लगता है। जब खिलाड़ी को लगता है कि उसने सब कुछ सही किया, तब भी अगर मौका नहीं मिले, तो निराशा स्वाभाविक है। आने वाले समय में देखना होगा कि क्या Yashasvi Jaiswal फिर से टीम में अपनी जगह बना पाएंगे या नहीं। अभी के लिए इतना कहा जा सकता है कि ये फैसला ना सिर्फ जायसवाल के लिए, बल्कि उन सभी युवा खिलाड़ियों के लिए एक संकेत है कि सिर्फ अच्छा खेलना काफी नहीं, सही वक्त पर सही जगह पर होना भी जरूरी है।
